South Park’s latest episode appears to contain new Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay, with Rockstar Games acknowledged in the end credits.
A clip shared by X user @lostyyyyyyyyy shows footage playing on a television inside the show. It begins with a dog squatting on a sunny beach, before switching to a third-person view of a character walking past beachgoers and getting into a confrontation.
The character looks like Jason, one of GTA VI’s two protagonists, and a minimap is visible in the corner.
The scene comes from “Guinea Pig On A Stick,” which aired on Comedy Central on October 28. Rockstar’s inclusion in the credits points to an official collaboration, although it doesn’t establish whether the sequence is previously unseen.
It also wouldn’t be the first time South Park has worked with a developer to put actual game footage on screen.
ARC Raiders appeared in the November 2025 episode “Turkey Trot,” with Tolkien playing the extraction shooter. Embark’s marketing lead Ashley St. Germain explained that the collaboration came together in just days: South Park contacted the studio on Monday, Embark supplied footage on Tuesday, and the episode aired on Wednesday.
The show’s best-known gaming collaboration goes back much further. For 2006’s “Make Love, Not Warcraft,” Blizzard employees helped the South Park team film scenes inside World of Warcraft. Trey Parker directed around 20 players for one large battle, while the production also used Maya animation software to adapt the footage for the episode.
GTA VI’s appearance follows that tradition, giving viewers another look at the game just weeks before its scheduled November 19 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
